A Photo Tour of the Opening of OCTA's Western Overland Trails Collection at the California State Library

Photography by Kathy Lewin and Mary Mueller

For more information on the Western Overland Trails Collection please see articles in both the November 2003 and Winter 2004 issues of Trail Talk.

There are more than 1000 titles in the Collection. As of April 7, 2004 the state library website has 361 of them listed. Go to www.lib.state.ca.us and click on "main catalog." Then click on "special resources" and scroll down to "Oregon-California Trails Association (OCTA) Western Overland Trails Collection" and click on that. If you then click on "more info" you will see a blurb on OCTA.
